Jeep Kurri Burri Polo Classic Celebrates a Fourth Year

The Jeep Kurri Burri Polo Classic Tournament celebrated its fourth year on Sunday 13th May 2012, attracting more than 1,500 spectators who celebrated Motherʼs Day in true country style. Over $33,000 was raised for Inala, a Rudolf Steiner organisation supporting individuals with disabilities, with the Winten team taking home the final prize.

In addition to the four thrilling polo matches played up to an 8 goal level some highlights on the day included gourmet picnic fare, a jumping castle, petting zoo, Jack Russell races and markets.

Headline sponsor Jeep hosted a number of high profile guests in its Marquee, including Ambassadors Jesinta Campbell and Hayden Quinn – who cooked up his finest chukka pukka behind the BBQ. Tracey Spicer, Erica Heynatz, Daimon Downey and Guest Commentator Ebe Sievwright were also in attendance, mingling with guests across the Jaeger-LeCoultre and Shangri-La Marquee, Veuve Clicquot Grandstand and Deluxe Hamper Area and the Kurri Burri Premium Hamper Areas.

In addition to the winning Winten team the tournament attracted other competitive Polo teams including Marshall, Cox and Kings, Town & Country, Coco Republic, Centuria, Muddy Flats, Sportscraft, Altios and more.
