Jewellery Fashion Trends For 2019

Heart Love- channel the trending look of the nineteen eighties and get yourself some heart-shaped fashion accessories. Whether it's heart earrings, or bangles shaped like hearts, heart love is showing no signs of diminishing any time soon. It's made its way to the fashion runways as well and you'll see celebrities and influencers sporting this with style.

Shell- we are well into the year and the shell jewellery love is just getting stronger every time. Perhaps it's the huge nod to the past that shell accessories carry with them. After all, there's something simple and innocent about jewellery made from shell. It goes well with the whole natural beauty vibe too. Puka or cowrie shells are versatile and shape themselves into earrings, especially danglers, lockets and the other fashion trend-chokers.

When paired with silver, it can be worn with fancy and work clothes. Gold and pearls are a great combination for a formal gathering. Ropes of pearls wrapped around the neck can make a good fashion statement too.

Crystal- nothing says bling quite like crystal does. It's best when it's in the form of dripping, cascading jewellery because it creates a visual effect that's like liquid cascades. Pop stars wear it, page 3 regulars too and it can look as classy or as over-the-top as you'd like it to be. Crystal makes for beautiful long earrings, long chains and hair accessories to jazz up your bun.

Colour-how can jewellery not be about colour? Jewellery trends have embraced this wholeheartedly this year. Multi-coloured bracelets that are perfect to stack up, chains that are every possible colour there is, even rings in every colour- choose this trend and be bright, quite literally wherever you go. Rainbows are an important statement to make. Make colours count.

Hoops- large hoops are like the hearts trend. They never go out of style. Get some pearl-encrusted hoops or plain hoops, get them in crystal and colour, make them large or small in size- they work well every time.

Flowers- summer is about flowers too! Get some flower power with a daisy chain (no pun intended), preserved flower lockets, even tiny flower rings. Or wear a string of flowers woven into your hair for a perfect beach vibe. Flowers can lend themselves so well to danglers and hoops, chokers and bracelets. Get some flowers to adorn yourself with for a fresh vibe.
