Jungle Girls Perform at Australia Zoo's Crocoseum

Bindi re-joined the Jungle Girls to perform in Australia Zoo's Crocoseum for the first time since winning Dancing with the Stars in America late last year.

This was Bindi's first public performance since her Dancing with the Stars victory and it was obvious that she was thrilled to be back home dancing to her old favourites. Bindi's fans eagerly danced along at the foot of the stage, which was far more relaxed than the technical ballroom dances she performed in front of the judging panel in LA.

After the performance, the Irwins joined Zoo Director, Wes Mannion and the Australia Zoo croc team to feed Monty, one of Australia Zoo's most notorious crocodiles. Monty started at Australia Zoo with Steve in 1975 when they were both just one metre in length. Today, Monty is significantly larger and always keen to have a go at Wes.

Robert and Bindi took turns feeding Monty his favourite foods, including a juicy rat which Wes dubbed 'a rat burger". With guidance from their mum, Terri, and Wes, they demonstrated the crocodile's natural hunting behaviours to the energised school holiday crowd. With Monty's breathtaking lunges and the Irwins' sharp reflexes, it was truly a sight to see! The summer school holidays at Australia Zoo have been buzzing with the Summer Down Under concert series.  With plenty of entertainment including upcoming performances by Justice Crew and Taylor Henderson, family fun and most importantly, show stopping wildlife, Australia Zoo is the place to be this January.
