Karise Eden Born To Fight Tour

Karise Eden Born To Fight Tour

Karise Eden has announced her 2019 national tour, in support of new album Born To Fight (Island Records Australia/UMA).

The Born To Fight tour will commence on February 22 at Twin Towns, Tweed Heads followed by Brisbane, Upwey, Bendigo, Melbourne, Albury, Newcastle, Thirroul, Bowral, Sydney, Canberra and winding up in Adelaide at The Gov on March 31.

Powerful, engrossing and bold, Karise is one of world's most distinctive singers and arguably Australia's best soul and blues voice. On the Born To Fight tour, Karise will perform songs from her brand new album as well as the soul classics that she is known and loved for.

Born To Fight, produced by Jan Skubiszewski (Dan Sultan, John Butler Trio, ILLY, Ella Hooper and The Cat Empire), is Karise's first album in four years. With this new release, Karise wanted to make music that showed her fiery side and her passion for blues, rock'n roll and even a great power ballad.

"I've always been singing sad soul songs and I thought, just for once, there's another side of my personality that's never been shown on camera, my off-screen sass and who I am as a person, and that's a lot of what poured into this album," she says.

Karise recently shared the live video for new single 'Gimme Your Love', which was co-written by Grammy Award-winning artist, songwriter and producer Chris Stapleton. Filmed in front of a group of lucky fans at the Eternity Playhouse in Darlinghurst (Sydney), the live video is the fifth clip from Born To Fight to be premiered weekly on Karise Eden's YouTube Page and Socials.

At just 26 years of age, Karise Eden has achieved so much. Her debut album My Journey debuted at #1 on the ARIA Albums Chart and held that top spot for an incredible 6 weeks, reaching double platinum sales. It was the biggest selling album for a local artist in 2012 and broke ARIA Chart records - delivering 4 of the Top 5 songs on the ARIA singles chart in the same week and 3 debuts in the one week within the Top 5. Her follow up album, 2014's Things I've Done, achieved Gold sales status and leapt straight into the top 5 on release.

In 2018 Karise is back in vibrant form, the fittest she's ever been, and she is reaping the rewards! She says, "Since working out and developing my core strength, my high notes are stronger and my lower register is thicker and richer."

Karise Eden's voice is best experienced in a live setting – for an unforgettable show, don't miss Karise Eden live in concert. Fans are in for a treat!
