Australia's top young squash player, Kasey Brown and GRAYS Squash have joined forces with the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) to raise vital funds to bring us closer towards a cure for breast cancer.
GRAYS Squash has developed the GRAYS 150 Pink racquet and other pink coloured accessories to raise funds and awareness for the NBCF.
Brown, the face of the GRAYS Squash Breast Cancer Campaign, is currently ranked number one in Australia and sixteenth in the world. She Won four consecutive WISPA Events in 2006: West Australian Open, Naracoorte Open, South Australian Open and Australian Open. In 2007, Kasey was a finalist in the Australian Open and won the Central Open in New Zealand.
Brown, 22, is thrilled to be a part of this initiative.
"If I can play a part in raising money for such a good cause whilst playing a sport that I love, then of course I want to be involved. I hope all squash players out there get behind the cause with me and purchase the GRAYS 150 Pink racquet and accessories."
Steve Walton International GRAYS Squash Brand Manager said: "GRAYS Squash, which is well known for its quality, heritage and innovation, can now be viewed as a brand that has taken the initiative to use its position to raise funds and awareness for breast cancer research."
Sue Murray CEO of the NBCF said: "Breast cancer is a disease that affects families all over Australia. With more than 13,000 women being diagnosed a year, research is the only way we will find a cure. Research costs money and by supporting ambassadors such as Kasey Brown and companies such as GRAYS Squash, we can raise the funds needed to bring us closer to the prevention and cure of breast cancer."
GRAYS Squash originated from Cambridge, England in 1855 and has always been a leading innovator in the development of squash equipment. GRAYS Squash is recognised worldwide for its quality and heritage. More players have won the British Open with a GRAYS racquet than any other brand!
