Kayex Supporting SG Lewis

Sydney-based duo KAYEX are following up their successful debut single My Friends with brand new track  The Get Up. The Get Up sees the duo bring back their disco-infused flavour, with a smooth driving beat that's equally at home on the dancefloor as it is on the car stereo with the windows wound down. The single comes along with the announcement that they will be supporting UK Producer, Songwriter, DJ SG Lewis for the Sydney and Brisbane legs on his first live headline shows in Australia.

Comprising of Tom Derickx and Palassi Kailis, KAYEX came strong out of the gate last year with -My Friends' which is sitting at over 1 million streams, landed at #1 on Hype Machine and saw them secure a spot on the Sydney leg of Listen Out. The track scored solid reviews on triple j unearthed from a wide raft of presenters and tastemakers across both that station and triple j itself. They have since singed with Sydney-based management company Audiopaxx who also look after the likes of L D R U, Yahtzel and Carmada, and powerhouse booking agents WME, who represent The Weeknd, Banks, Miike Snow and more.

Hailing from Perth, KAYEX have had crowds flood to the dancefloor with their live sets in various venues both in their hometown and also in their now-adopted city Sydney. They'll be making their international live debut in July at Okinawa, Japan as part of the Corona Sunsets Festival, with more festivals on the horizon locally as well.
