Beautiful vampire Djuna (Josephine de La Baume) resides in a countryside mansion in Conneticut, spending her nights hunting animals and renting classic movies. When the handsome human screenwriter Paolo (Milo Ventimiglia) enters her life, Djuna tries to resist the temptation, but eventually gives in to an intense, immortal passion. All seems well for Djuna until her estranged sister Mimi (Roxanne Mesquida) shows up. Leaving a trail of bodies in her wake, Mimi's primal urges threaten Djuna's morally civilised life, her relationship, and endanger the entire vampire community.
