Backed by 50 years of hair care excellence, KLORANE Laboratories has once again harnessed the power of plant extracts to formulate its new hair care range with YLANG-YLANG. The threestep "Sun Radiance" range features a Shampoo, Conditioner and Protective Oil that utilise the unique properties of Ylang-Ylang wax to nourish and protect sun-exposed hair.

KLORANE's Ylang-Ylang essential wax is harvested from Ylang-Ylang flowers on the island of Anjouan in the Comoros, in the Indian Ocean. Ylang-Ylang is known for the impermeable, essential wax that coats its petals, making them highly resistant to external damage.

The Ylang-Ylang wax used in KLORANE's Ylang-Ylang range is rich in Linoleic acid, Omega-6, Omega- 9 and Lauric acid and forms a shield that protectsi the hair fibre from environmental stressors like sun, sand, salt and chlorine.

KLORANE's Ylang-Ylang is sustainably cultivated and harvested by hand during the dry season, when the content of key ingredient is at its highest. KLORANE also works to preserve the local biodiversity in the region through Klorane Botanical Foundation.

KLORANE's new Ylang-Ylang hair care range is silicone free and contains no animal-based ingredients. The range also features eco-designed packaging (shampoo and conditioner) that uses less plastic and raw materials that are recyclable and 50 percent recycled.

Shampoo with Ylang-Ylang Wax

KLORANE's Shampoo with Ylang-Ylang Wax (RRP $13.95/200ml) nourishes and protects the hair strand against the external aggressors of salt, sand and chlorine. Its biodegradable formulaii gently cleanses, forming a foamy lather that deposits a protective, nourishing film onto the strands, progressively protecting and smoothing the hair cuticles*. The shampoo carries the same pH level as the scalp and leaves the hair soft, supple and shiny.

Conditioner with Ylang-Ylang Wax

KLORANE's Conditioner with Ylang-Ylang Wax (RRP $13.95/200ml) is designed to deeply nourish and repair sun-exposed hair. Its biodegradable formulaiii is packed with nurturing plant-based keratiniv and shea butter, leaving hair feeling extremely nourished. The conditioner reaches deep into the strand, resulting in soft, easy to style, detangled hair that is protected from sand, salt and chlorine.

KLORANE's Protective Oil with Ylang-Ylang Wax (RRP: $19.95/100 ml) protects the hair's natural keratin and provide a high level of sun protection with UVA and UVB filters. Ylang-Ylang Wax protects hair from the damaging aggressors of salt, sand and chlorine, while emollients fill gaps in the cuticles and hair structure, increasing the hair's resistance to dehydration.

The waterproof oil adds a protective layer that both nourishes the strands and protects colour, while leaving it with a non-greasy, non-sticky, silky touch.
