Stitch is a genetic mutant designed by a mad scientist to destroy most everything he encounters. Sentenced to exile, he escapes in a space cruiser and ends up in the Hawaiian Islands. There he poses as a pet in the pound and is adopted by a lonely girl named Lilo.
Rather than the usual Disney tale of plastic kids leading perfect lives, 'Lilo and Stitch' is a more quirky tale with lots of bizarre sight gags and oddball characters that make it an absolute delight to watch. Lilo's character is one of the better portrayals of the social problems young girls face that I have ever seen in a cartoon. And Stitch will have you rolling in the aisles with his wild and crazy antics. A must see for the whole family.
