Kids, strap into your pretend spaceship seats and join author and Astrophysicist Lisa Harvey-Smith as she takes you on an adventure through the night sky from your bedroom window via a free app!
Stargaze together this Wednesday evening at 6.30pm AEST and view the (nearly) full moon and learn exciting facts about its dance around the Earth. Answer the question "where did the moon come from?".
This will be followed by a fun and interactive Q&A session where Lisa will answer all your questions about space!
To join the workshop on May 6, simply visit www.lisaharveysmith.com and click on "Sign up for Astrophysics Live". Once you register, a link to the app will be emailed to you after your booking is received. Please ensure you have a reliable internet connection.
Then, on June 10 at 11am AEST, Lisa will be able to join you in your living room, thanks to modern technology. As you virtually join her, Lisa will read from her children's book "Under the Stars: Astrophysics for Bedtime" and answer all your questions about the night sky. Learn about stars, galaxies and black holes and ask Lisa questions in a fun and interactive Q&A session.
Learning science and having fun at home with it is the perfect addition to your home-schooling schedule!
Book now for these free sessions on Wednesday, May 6 at 6.30pm and Wednesday, June 10 at 11am AEST by logging onto www.lisaharveysmith.com under the "Sign up for Astrophysics Live" section.
