Crown Melbourne today unveiled a giant Wishing Tree housed in the centre of the Atrium to launch its annual Lunar New Year Festivities.

The Wishing Tree is the cornerstone of the Lunar New Year celebrations and is deeply symbolic for this time. Set up until the 10th February, the tree will enable Mebournians to continue to show their support and raise much needed funds for wildlife relief and recovery through the incredible work of Zoos Victoria.

Guests are encouraged to share messages of hope and donations to support and welcome prosperity and growth for the year ahead. The Wishing Tree initiative comes after Crown Melbourne offered 200 hotel rooms to Mallacoota evacuees, and the Crown Resorts and Packer Family Foundations donated $5 million to bushfire relief and charities.
