To recognise the large toll lung cancer has had on many Australian families, The Australian Lung Foundation is inviting all Australians to participate in Lung Cancer Tree Planting Day. The commemorative tree planting events are designed to recognise the thousands of Australians who die from lung cancer each year.

The public are invited to attend the event in order to raise awareness of the burden of lung cancer in Australia and support people with lung cancer and their families.

Locations:
Canberra: From 10am-12pm at Pine Island, Pine Island Road, Greenway ACT
Sydney: From 10am-12pm at Kokoda Track Memorial Walkway (Lovedale Place) Killoola St, Concord
Melbourne: From 10am-3pm at Royal Park, Corner Macarthur Road and The Avenue
Brisbane: From 9am-12pm at Brittain Park, Troughton Rd, Cooper Plains
