MADE for Spring School Holiday Fun

These school holidays at MADE (Museum of Australian Democracy at Eureka) kids can grab a trail journal and discover the sites of the Eureka Stockade story.

 

Children are given a trail map and journal that takes them on a journey through the sites of Eureka Stockade, completing activities along the way, to learn more about this iconic Australian event.

 

When:

Saturday 23 September, 2017 – Sunday 8 October, 2017

The school holiday program is free upon admission to M.A.D.E

 

Museum entry:

Adult $12, Children 6-15 $8, U5 free

Free for Ballarat locals upon presentation of identification

M.A.D.E is one of Australia's newest museums and is the winner of a 2015 MAGNA Innovation Award.  It is located on the historic site of the 1854 Eureka Stockade uprising in Ballarat, the beginning of Australian democracy.

M.A.D.E uses clever art installations and immersive, interactive content, to bring the history alive and to inspire people to contemplate what issues are important to them today.
