Diesel Presents Haute Couture With Madeline Stuart

The more hate you wear, the less you care

Australian model, Madeline Stuart joins an international line up of celebrities and influencers for the latest DIESEL Haute Couture campaign.

Celebrities supporting the innovative DIESEL campaign by wearing their hate include; Nicki Minaj, Lindsay Lohan, Charlie Sheen, Bella Thorne, Amber Rose, Gucci Mane, Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino and the world's first international model with down syndrome, Australia's own Madeline Stuart.

Madeline and her manager and mother, Rosanne Stuart understands the need for campaigns like this.

The Diesel post on Madeline's Instagram states – "The more Hate you wear the less you care. Hate starts at a very early age with Down Syndrome, but it is the worst sort of hate, it is the hate that comes across in an accepted way for most of society. Before you are even born the doctors tell your parents they have options and an abortion is probably the best way to go. (We are not talking pro-choice here, where a woman may have been raped, a person is too young etc, we are talking about aborting a child because they may be too much hard work or not live up to the perfection standards of society). As you get older you are constantly hearing on the news or reading in the press how this country is aiming to eradicate Down Syndrome or another country is extending termination time frames so people have more time to abort a baby with Down Syndrome. Well so you know this hate has given me strength to show my worth and prove to the world I am here and I am worthy. I will be remembered for the right reasons, will you? "

The team at DIESEL have learned that the more you expose the hate you get, treating it with irony and irreverence, the less power it has to cause harm -- Nicki Minaj and Gucci Mane have worn their hate, DIESEL has worn theirs, and now it's time for YOU to wear YOURS.

Diesel Haute Couture customization will launch in select stores starting October 12th.
The designs are limited edition and available at select Diesel stores and online. Customers will be able to create their own personal messages for the Haute Couture collection.

Beginning October 12 in select markets, people can customise pieces, and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the OTB Foundation to support anti-bullying and anti-cyberbullying programs in countries around the world.
