Naarm/Melbourne based ALT-RNB artist/producer Madoc Plane captures listeners with his soulful vocals and genre-blending sound. Rising to prominence in 2022 with debut singles 'Lilac in June' and 'Right Reason', he quickly garnered attention for his emotve storytelling and heavily produced harmonic arrangements. Now Madoc is back and excited to release his sophomore EP on December 6th.
'Moving On' is the emotional final puzzle piece to Madoc's sophomore EP (also including the tracks 'Peripheral' and 'Distance'), completing a three-song journey of introspection and transformation, signifying Plane's recent relocation from Boorloo/Perth to Naarm/Melbourne. Its an immersive track that fuses moody alt-soul with jazzy, electro-rnb undertones. Featuring intricate vocal layering and dynamic instrumentation, the song explores themes of growth and emotional resilience. Its rhythm-driven melody and ethereal production are both soothing and introspective, appealing to fans of artists like James Blake and Jordan Rakei.
The EP was produced by Corban Chapple and Madoc Plane, with help from Blake Weller (co-prod), Christian Meares (guitar), Ben Lazzaro (guitar), Amy Wright (backing vocals) and Joel Dalton (drums), as well as mix and master by Brodie Stewart.
