Majority Rules follows Rebecca 'Becky' Richards (Tracy Spiridakos) who is your typical skateboarding, computer game playing 15 year old. That is, until she accidentally becomes a candidate for mayor of her town, Mayfield - and wins! Becky and her friends take over City Hall with an energy and teen perspective never before seen or experienced.

Becky's eclectic team is made up of Kiki (Sasha Clements), a boy crazy fashionista; Margo (Jenny Raven), a deadpan but loveable cynic; Jarmin (Dalmar Abuzeid), an opinionated, political provocateur; and the mysterious Mo (Madison Cassaday), who says more in five words than most people can say in fifty. Then there's Jack (Wesley Morgan): the handsome jock who has undeniable chemistry with Becky, but unfortunately happens to be the son of the crooked mayor she beat in the election, Bummer!

A 'fish-out-of-water' in an adult world, Mayor Becky has her hands full. Between trying to keep childish city councillors in line with camp counsellor tactics, and coping with the demands of local citizens - Becky still can't help being a teenager. As she copes with juggling potential romance, peer pressure and overall teen problems with city business, Becky discovers her own potential - for both success and disaster!

With her infectious smile and 'leap first' attitude, it's clear that Becky and her beloved city of Mayfield will never quite be the same.

Episode 1: Go Girl! - Sunday January 16 at 8.15pm
Becky Richards declares that she will run for Mayor of Mayfield to spite her arch nemesis, Goody-Two Shoes Serena Balfour (Mouna Traoré). What begins as a joke turns real when Becky's best friends, Margo and Kiki, accidentally register her as a candidate for the election.
