The World's FIRST Selfie-Powered Store Has Launched in Sydney's Westfield
New make-up brand, mark. hits Australia with interactive beauty pop-up

mark. a hot new make-up range has launched in Australia last weekend, opening the world's first selfie-powered store at Sydney's Westfield.

For two-days only, 11-12 August, The Selfie Store by mark. traded with selfies being the only currency. Beauty shoppers were encouraged to experiment with the product in-store, create a look, take a selfie and post it to their social network of choice. At the checkout the selfie was then exchanged for one product from the mark. make-up range.

US singer/songwriter, model and the face of Madonna's clothing line Material Girl, Pia flew to Australia for the launch of mark. make-up and is making a surprise appearance at The Selfie Store. Across the weekend, Pia Mia shared her top beauty secrets, favourite mark. looks, and offered shoppers tips and tricks on how to master the art of taking the perfect selfie.

The Selfie Store by mark. was the ultimate beauty hangout, hosting -how to' tutorials and selfie masterclasses. Expert make-up artists were on hand at the beauty bar to offer top tips and techniques on how to achieve signature mark. looks. Selfie queens learnt how to pout like a pro at one of the store's three designated selfie stations dedicated to perfecting the -finger mouthing' selfie, group selfie and infamous bathroom mirror selfie.

Pia Mia says, 'I know all too well the challenges involved with realising your full potential and trying to make your mark on the world. You have to be who you are and know what you want to say. It's about setting your creativity free, being true to who you are and making your dreams become a reality.

'I am thrilled to have launched mark. make-up in Australia. My beauty routine is an important part of my life as it allows me to express my personality. Make-up gives me the freedom to explore different versions of myself, be playful and creative whenever the mood takes me.

I hope I have helped inspire women to embrace their individuality and be bold and brave with their make-up looks," says Pia.

The mark. range features a unique capsule collection of products for eyes, face, lips and nails with shades to suit every skin type with art-inspired textures and shades for every expression inspiring women to celebrate their own individuality through make-up. The products are now available online at markbeauty.com.au and for sale through mark. Representatives nationally (RRP from $9.99 – $29.99).
