MARKET CHEF sees students from high schools across the Sunshine Coast work their foodie magic in the outdoor kitchen every Wednesday from 10am - 11am during Term 2, with eight weeks of cooking demonstrations.
Market Manager Peter Homan says the MARKET CHEF 'cook-offs' are a real challenge for the students as they are only told the theme – not the particular recipes - prior to each week. This keeps the young Market Chefs on their toes!
The 2013 MARKET CHEF participants are: St Teresa's Catholic College, Maroochydore State High School, St Andrew's Anglican College, Burnside State High School, Good Shepherd Lutheran College, Unity College Caloundra, Noosa District State High School, Immanuel Lutheran College.
