Melbourne Zoo is home to a vast array of different animals and more than one third of these critters can be found under the roof of our Reptile House.

These school holidays, make your way to Melbourne Zoo to see reptiles, amphibians, crocodiles and alligators from all over the globe, all housed in our indoor reptile exhibit.

For those with a fascination for all things gator-riffic, we will be showcasing American alligators along with the Philippine Crocodile, the most endangered member of the crocodilian family. They will be on display along with many other scaly, slithering, and slimy species of snakes, lizards, turtles and frogs.

Throughout the day, enjoy a range of special animal encounters, keeper talks, craft activities and fun for the whole family to enjoy.
