Napoleon Perdis announced actress Melissa George as the official celebrity ambassador for his cosmetics brand for 2007. Melissa George and Napoleon aim to inspire real women around the globe to embrace their inner goddess and feel empowered by beauty.

Napoleon and Melissa George have an inspirational friendship and respect for each other, which was cemented in March 2006 when Melissa was guest of honour at the brand's Canadian launch. Napoleon observed an inexplicable synergy of beliefs in life, business and beauty with Melissa George, resulting in her becoming a Napoleon Perdis brand ambassador for 2007.

"I have loved Napoleon's products since I was living in Australia. When I met the man behind the brand, Napoleon, I just felt that if I didn't have him in my life it wouldn't be the same. So when he approached me to be the face of Napoleon Perdis, I felt like I got it all: A quality brand to be associated with and a life long friend," said Melissa George.

Melissa George will next be seen opposite Josh Duhamel for Marc Cuban and Todd Wagner's 2929 Pictures' TURISTAS-a suspense drama about young travelers marooned on a remote Brazilian beach which will be released by FOX ATOMIC on December 1st.

Currently shooting in New Zealand, Melissa George stars opposite Josh Hartnett in Columbia Pictures' 30 DAYS OF NIGHT. The film, directed by David Slade ("Hard Candy"), follows the story of an Alaskan town which is plunged into darkness for a month and attacked by a bloodthirsty gang of vampires. Only the small town's husband-and-wife Sheriff team (Hartnett and George) stand between the survivors and certain destruction. She also recently completed shooting WAZ, opposite Stellan Skarsgard and Selma Blair and THE MUSIC WITHIN starring opposite Ron Livingston.

Melissa George's other credits include DERAILED for Miramax opposite Jennifer Aniston and Clive Owen. In 2005, she starred opposite Ryan Reynolds in MGM's successful remake of THE AMITYVILLE HORROR and starred on ABC's hit show ALIAS as the evil Lauren Reed.

Melissa George got her start in Australia where she took on numerous modeling jobs and was voted Western Australia's Teenage Model of the Year. After landing the role of Angel Brooks for the popular Australian TV soap HOME & AWAY, she won Australia's top Television Award "The Golden Logie" twice.
