Having dreams of gracing the covers of Vogue or GQ magazines, strutting your stuff across the runways of Milan & New York, or working for the biggest brands in the world on their next big campaign? Well, close your books and leave your apple for your teacher, as the rest of your life starts now with MMS Model Search 2011.

We are looking to discover students in their final year of high school in this national world-class modeling event. And it promises to be the best yet! It's time for Auditions, Runways, and judging... and of course being in the spotlight, with the ultimate model search.

MMS Model Search 2011 is a national model search stepping off in all capital cities. It is the first modeling competition of its kind in that it will discover girls as well guys looking to be beautiful, fashionable & aspiring models. MMS Model Search 2011 embodies everything we love about our nation - the chance to chase your dreams of modeling stardom and international fan fair.

National Auditions are about to take place in every state with the top 50 qualifying for the State Finals.

The State Finals are all-age events, which have stunning stage and lighting effects designed by Light Sounds, and a sound track of great music performed by some of Australia biggest and best known DJ's and Performers including the Stafford Brothers, Nino Brown, Israel Cruz, Elen Levon and Bombs Away.

State Finals will be held in each State during the September 2011 school holidays, where male and female contestants, chosen by our panel of industry judges, will compete. The winners of the State Finals will attend the National Final to be held on the Gold Coast and courtesy of 1800 Schoolies will receive two (2) nights accommodation at the Chevron Renaissance. Additionally, each National Finalist from outside Queensland will be flown to the Gold Coast, also courtesy of 1800 Schoolies, from their closest capital city and chauffer driven from the airport in a stretched Hummer to the Chevron Renaissance. Here they will meet Mr. Greg Chan of Wilhelmina Models, New York. Mr. Greg Chan is flying out to judge the National Final and select two winners who Wilhelmina Models will represent in New York and Overseas.

The winners of each State Final will be represented by the best modeling agencies in each State, namely Dallysmodels (Qld), London Model Management (Vic & NSW), Scene Models (WA) and Finesse Models (SA), and will receive national exposure through our coverage of the National Final on Fashion TV Oceania.

Leigh Metzeling, founder and director of MLM Corp Pty Ltd (the company presenting MMS Model Search 2011), says 'The message and the concept that goes out to these kids is about helping one another out and that there are people their own age out there that are less fortunate than themselves'. With this message MMS Model Search 2011 will be donating a percentage of all profits from SMS votes to Children's Cancer Institute of Australia.

Jason Hirt, director of MLM Corp Pty Ltd, says 'In the first three weeks of launching the Facebook page we had over 22,000 Facebook 'likes'. This year we expect to get over 1500 aspiring models turn up to audition and over 10,000 people attend the events'.
