Question: What inspired the track, Piece Of Me?
Naomi Sequeira: It's raw, young, fresh and groovy and that's what makes it special. I've been wanting to release music for a long time now and finally had the courage to do so at the end of 2017. I'm still growing as an artist and I'm constantly being inspired, so I thought for the time being it would be a good idea to release just a little Piece Of Me. I hope that people can connect with my music and feel good when they listen to it.
Question: Can you tell me the video clip, you directed?
Naomi Sequeira: Yes! I was lucky enough to direct two music videos with Thomaz LaBanca who is an incredible DOP. I wanted the concept for both music videos to be simply romantic and effective with certain colours, beautiful location and real moments, yet still be different from each other.
Pastries was shot at night around Santa Monica and China town in LA and its colour scheme was moody blues and reds. Whereas Forever Mine was all about bright colours and tropical vibes by San Clemente beach. I worked with my talented friends (Jordi Weber and Charlie Gillespie) and we all had a lot of fun on and off set.
