The causes of eating disorders are under the spotlight at the third Annual National Workshop of the Australian Government funded National Eating Disorders Collaboration (NEDC) in Adelaide.

Keynote speaker Professor Howard Steiger, from the Douglas University Institute in Mental Health in Quebec, will detail a new global approach to understanding eating disorders, the science of 'epigenetics' - the intersection of environmental triggers on people who are genetically predisposed to an eating disorder.
