Nickelodeon Australia has revealed that it is about to begin rolling out new branding as part of Nickelodeon Networks' global re-brand, with new look logos for Nick Australia to be launched on-air in the fast-tracked broadcast of the US Kids' Choice Awards from this Sunday March 28 at 6.30pm (show hosted by Kevin James with performances by Rihanna and Justin Beiber).
The new logos feature a streamlined look to replace the 25-year old "splat" design, retaining the fun and fluid essence of the splat with a unique balloon-like font.
The change comes as Nickelodeon moves into its 31st year in the US (15th year in Australia) with the number--one kids' network in the world having commenced brand unification for the US TV channels and web sites from September 2009 during its landmark 30th anniversary.
