One lucky Australian will be given the chance to launch their career as a TV host after Omni Wines commenced a three week search to find a presenter for their new web-based lifestyle show, OmniTV.

Omni is looking to discover a new star and will give them a platform to show their talent to thousands of online viewers.

The search, being run as a competition, will give the winner an opportunity to host up to six episodes of OmniTV. They'll also receive a $10,000 cash prize.

Omni is calling for people 25 or over who are confident, friendly and outgoing - or simply have what it takes to be the perfect host- to enter a short video of themselves interviewing people in the street about the hottest places to be seen in their town.

Five finalists will be selected from the entrants and OmniTV subscribers given the chance to choose their host.
