This year's Chalk Urban Art Festival, held in Church Street Parramatta from Thursday 7th through to Sunday 10th October, is shaping up to be another exciting event with an impressive line up of local and international artists confirmed and a full host of activities to keep all ages entertained over the school holiday period.

The four day festival, which is the largest of its type in the Southern Hemisphere, will feature a pavement art competition for artists from all over Australia, a mini chalk competition for the general public and interactive school holiday workshops.

Artists to showcase their talents at the festival include international guest artist Bernardo von Hessberg from Italy; Glenwood Illustrator and experienced Courtroom Sketch Artist Ala Paredes; Wallsend body painter Brendon Ussher; Wahroonga 3D animation specialist David Towey; Melbourne scenic artist and puppeteer Joe Blanck; Slovakian born artist Renata Cooper and Indian arts teacher Vishwanath Panchal.
