Perth Fashion Festival Day Four
Perth Fashion Festival's Fashion Paramount was searing with summer style last night at the STM Swimwear show featuring seven of Western Australia's hottest swimwear designers.
Amore & Sorvette, Bernice Sara, Cebiche, Kooey, Miss Erika, Ocean Zone and We Heart Vintage wowed the 600-strong crowd with their sizzling 10/11 collections that included one piece, one shoulder, bikini, sarong, vintage and loungewear.
Spotted soaking up the sizzle in the VIP seats were Vogue.com.au editor Damien Woolnough, Lord Mayor Lisa Scaffidi, US music producer Trent Blackett, and Australia's Next Top Model contestant Jessica Moloney.
STM Swimwear followed Wesley Quarter - a decadent exhibition of style and glamour that included national and international labels Alannah Hill, Coast London, Eyedonist, G-Star Raw, Industrie, Jan Logan, Karen Millen, Metalicus and RJ Pearce.
The event opened with cabaret chanteuse, Julia Jenkins who belted out a rendition of Ella Fitzgerald's classic song, Summertime. A West Australian catwalk debut for Coast London showcased a stunning blend of Spring Summer 10/11 menswear, womenswear, jewellery and cutting edge eyewear.
Highlights included Runway Model of the Year nominee Adam Erceg going shirtless for Industrie and Alannah Hill's signature frills and colour.
Australia's most popular plus size model, Natalie Wakeling strutted her stuff in the second and final Every Body Counts show. The event offered an inspirational display of fashionable looks that can be achieved by all women every day.
