Peyton List Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodick Rules Interview
Question: Can you talk about your character Holly Hills in Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodick Rules?
Peyton List: My character Holly Hills is very sweet and very popular at the same time she is very active and is good at everything, she is a very open person and she is very likeable person and not judge mental towards people. I loved getting to play her.
Question: Were you able to relate to Holly Hills in any way?
Peyton List: I was able to relate to Holly Hills because she is kind, she is athletic, and she is the new girl in school and I was the new girl in the Wimpy Kid cast.
Question: What did you learn from working alongside Kate Hudson in Something Borrowed?
Peyton List: Since I play a younger version of Kate Hudson in Something Borrowed I only got to shoot with her one day but the one day that I did work with her she was really upbeat and positive and she made everyone that she was around laugh.
Question: You're only 12, how are you able to act so maturely?
Peyton List: I think from working on so many movie and T.V sets I have learned a lot from working with so many adults it has really made me more mature.
Question: You starred alongside Robert Pattinson in Remember Me, can you tell us what that was like?
Peyton List: Working alongside Rob was kind of a crazy story because well he is mad at my character because I cut his sisters hair at a sleepover party and at the school he is supposed to swerve my desk. On one of the takes he threw my desk and I flew all the way across the room and got bruises all over my arms. He felt terrible and broke out into his British accent.
Question: Did Nicolas Cage give you any tips when you working with him on The Sorcerer's Apprentice?
Peyton List: My scenes were not with Nicholas they were primarily with Jake Cherry but I did get to meet him at the reading and he is a really cool guy.
Question: Your brother is also an actor, is it fun working alongside him on projects such as Breavement?
Peyton List: Working on Bereavement was crazy because the movie shot over a course of four months and the movie shot in PA and my mom took me to my shooting and my dad took my brother to shooting and we only shot one week together and that one week was a blast.
Question: Can you talk about your role in Gossip Girl?
Peyton List: My role in Gossip Girl was a lot of fun because I got to work with Hilary Duff and she has always been my dream actress to work with.
Question: You've guest-starred on Saturday Night Live, can you tell us about that experience?
Peyton List: It was crazy and I got to work with Kristen Wiig and Will Forte those two people are SO funny they had Spencer and I laughing at every moment it was two days of pure humor.
Question: How do you feel when you watch yourself of the big screen?
Peyton List: When I watch myself on the big screen it is really weird I feel like I am watching a completely different person then myself. I just think, is that really me up there?
Question: What do your friends think of watching you on the big screen?
Peyton List: My friends are so happy for me and very supportive.
Question: Did you have any pre-conceived ideas about the acting industry?
Peyton List: Probably not because I was so young when I started I have pretty much just grown up in the business and I love it!

Peyton List: Well I just wrapped a episode of Law & Order SVU and I am just living as a normal kid for now until my next project.
Question: Do you have a preference - the big screen or television?
Peyton List: I would say big screen I like getting to experience different kinds of roles and characters rather then sticking to one on television but I love doing both.

Peyton List: Honestly I was so little it was probably just my mom taking me to Broadway shows I always loved seeing live shows. Wicked is still my favourite Broadway show!

I love listening to music and I love to ichat with my friends from acting and it is like I am with them.
Question: What has been your favorite part of becoming a actress?
Peyton List: My favorite part of becoming an actress has been getting to play other characters someone who I am not. It is really one of the best parts of acting for me. I feel like you get to be a different person in a whole different world and it has helped me understand how other people that act a certain way probably feel something that is making them act that way. I can be mean or nice or someone that is just wise beyond there years.
Question: If you could collaborate with another actor/actress, who would it be?
