The Rescue Base Open Day will be a fun filled day jammed packed with activities featuring an exciting line-up of emergency service vehicles. Visitors will be able get up close to the Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter, police cars, fire trucks and surf rescue boats. There will also be demonstrations throughout the day including simulated helicopter winch rescues, the NSW Police dog squad, the Police Rescue and Bomb Squad's 'bomb robot' and the Australian Federal Police currency detection sniffer dogs.

The Rescue Base Open Day is a wonderful opportunity for the community to come together to meet the heroic people behind each service, participate in a range of interactive activities and demonstrations and learn more about the vital work the emergency services sector does.
