Canadian singer-songwriter Roxanna makes a splash departure from her recently released single "Close Your Eyes" to covering a cherished top charting pop song from Lionel Richie's "Hello." Roxanna showcases a stunning new approach that is contemporary yet dramatic, resurrecting a love song taking all the right risks.

The light tone of the song is also both dramatic and heart-breaking. Roxanna expresses each lyric to the fullest and listeners will be surprised and instantly understand that she can truly empathize with the classic song.

"Close Your Eyes" is second single from the upcoming album " Exotica" set for April 15th. Roxanna masterfully shares her personal life with this universal track. "Written by Lindy Robbins, her words really spoke to me and my previous career being a nurse.  It sends the same message I would tell my patients that there is a light at the end of the tunnel, after every storm there is a rainbow, just an overall hope in the end."

Roxanna's rich vocals emotional, relatable lyrics, backed by producer superstar producer Mark Portmann, who's worked with Barbara Streisand and Michael Buble, are what make this song a modern day ballad all on its own.
