To tempt you out of hibernation and to helpfacilitate social connectedness, San Churro will release a new winter menu on Tuesday 28 April.
Featuring six new indulgent desserts and drinks, there's now even more reason to spend some quality time and a delicious experience with loved ones at San Churro this winter.
The star of San Churro's new winter menu is undoubtedly the Crème Brulée ($12.95). Freshly scorched with a blow torch to create a crisp toffee layer on top, this classic baked crème dessert
has been given a Spanish twist, served with mini churros and vanilla ice cream. Guaranteed to provide comfort from the cold and to become a crowd favourite!
The return of the ever popular Banana Caramel Cup ($11.95) and the addition of two new salted caramel desserts will have caramel fans swooning.
The new Salted Caramel Volcano ($12.95) features a hot banana cake pudding that's overflowing with salted caramel -lava' and served with vanilla ice cream to create a delicious and warming flavour combination. Continuing the salted caramel theme in the cake range is the new Salted Caramel Tart ($8.95). With two gooey layers of salted caramel set in a shortbread base and topped with chocolate ganache and a sprinkle of salt, this is the ultimate coffee-and-cake-date indulgence.
'As soon as the weather gets cold, we have a tendency to retreat from the world and stay at home, often neglecting the things that make us happiest – like spending time with friends and family. To combat that urge, we've created the most delicious desserts and drinks we could dream up in order to tempt customers out of hibernation and encourage them to catch up over a delicious shared experience," said Katrina Grant, San Churro spokesperson.
Another new addition to the menu is the Tiramisu Sundae ($12.95) - an irresistible combination of coffee infused chocolate cake, chocolate fudge, milk chocolate drizzle and white chocolate ice cream!
Of course winter just wouldn't be complete without adding a new member to San Churro's bustling range of 26 hot chocolates. The new Lamington El Grande Hot Chocolate ($6.95) is a traditional thick Spanish hot chocolate with a shot of fruity coconut syrup, topped with coconut and chocolateflakes. This simple pleasure tastes even better than it sounds (if that's possible!).
