School Holiday Workshops at Eumundi Markets

Join us at Eumundi Markets in the upcoming July school holidays and learn the tricks of creative balloon bending at hands-on workshops hosted by balloon artist supremos Miss Donna The Clown and TwistedMR.

The workshops will be held on Saturday 27 June, Wednesday 1 July, Saturday 4 July, Wednesday 8 July & Saturday 11 July, and will take place in Lonergan Lane in the centre of the markets.

Workshop times:      9am                Magic Staff Balloon – with Miss Donna The Clown

10am              Dog Balloon – with TwistedMR

11am              Sword Balloon – with Miss Donna The Clown

12noon          Flower Balloon – with TwistedMR

Balloon artist Miss Donna says the workshops are suited for children from 4 years of age. She says smiles and giggles are guaranteed and young market visitors get to take their masterpieces home with them.

'Children get hands-on experience in creative balloon twisting and self expression and get to become official Eumundi Market balloon twisters themselves!, " Miss Donna says.

'The best part for me is watching their faces light up as they walk away so proud of their own inflatable work of art," she says.

Workshop fee is a gold coin donation and there is no pre-booking – just turn up on the day. Limited to 25 students per workshop. Grown-ups can take part too if spaces permit, but young market visitors get the first option!

In addition, kids visiting the markets can also have their faces painted, watch a magic show with Nickleby the Magician, discover Spin Art with Zoe, or enjoy a fun pony ride.
