The Australian Herpes Management Forum (AHMF), Australia's leading independent organisation dedicated to the diagnosis, management and prevention of herpes viruses, has launched the second annual Live and Love Short Film competition.

The Live and Love Short Film competition aims to encourage all Australians to create a 30 second film in response to the question "How do you tell someone that you have herpes?" The film can be in any genre - comedy, drama, sci-fi, fantasy, animation, film noir - and is open to anyone who wishes to enter.

There is $15,000 worth of prize money to be won in the competition that opens 7 September 2011 and closes midnight 28 October 2011. Finalist films are to be shown at the Chauvel Cinema in Sydney on 10 November 2011 - National Herpes Awareness Day.
