A new survey from Newspoll has revealed that secret messages sent on Valentine's Day have led to love for many Australians. For more than two million Aussies, a message received from a secret admirer has ignited love – leading to a kiss, a date or the start of a new relationship.
The survey, commissioned by Darrell Lea, indicates one quarter of Australians aged 18-64 have received an anonymous love letter or gift on Valentine's Day – with a similar proportion having sent one. And it's a method that works, with the ultimate outcome of a love letter introduction eventually leading to marriage for an amazing 300,000 Aussie lovers!
