For 12 non-stop hours, Shop Brisbane City – a collaboration between The Myer Centre, QueensPlaza and Wintergarden – will see the City's biggest brands and most extensive range of retailers reveal their A/W "19 fashion and celebrate the trends of the season.
From recently opened international luxury brands Dior and Saint Laurent and the highly anticipated Brisbane opening of fashion giant COS, to iconic Australian designers, high-street flagship stores and the state's largest Myer store, Brisbane City is the premier one-stop destination for Queensland's favourite fashion brands.
Retailers from all three centres and selected Queen Street Mall stores have curated one-day-only offers exclusive to Brisbane City.
Fashion Director and Stylist of the Brisbane City Land Rover Fashion Stage, Christie Sutherland, said Shop Brisbane City was one of the pinnacle events of the season and was a fantastic opportunity for shoppers to experience the latest trends and shop new looks in-store immediately.
"Hosting, styling and curating Brisbane's largest consecutive runway shows in the heart of the city is a thrilling experience and I cannot wait to welcome Queensland to the Brisbane City Land Rover Fashion Stage." Ms Sutherland said
"The key winter fashion looks you will be seeing under the stars and on the runway range from fluffy coats to combat boots, the return of the tote, loose suiting and cornflower blue from Brisbane's shopping power players The Myer Centre, QueensPlaza and Wintergarden."
Shop Brisbane City 'Under the Stars' amplifies what it means to enjoy Brisbane City on a Friday night – from the twinkling lights of the Queen Street Mall and live entertainment to world-class shopping and dining.
The exciting outdoor atmosphere and vibrant ambience of shopping in the City 'Under the Stars' will be brought to life with a "Cloud 9" whimsical-styled installation in The Myer Centre, featuring a hot air balloon and large-scale paper plane to provide the ultimate instagrammable moment.
QueensPlaza will be celebrating their Australian Designers on level one with exclusive offers and in-store experiences from iconic luxury brands including Alice McCall, Aje, CAMILLA, Viktoria + Woods and Sass and Bide. In addition to its in-store exclusives, beautiful photo opportunities will be on offer with a CAMILLA Angel on the ground level who will be gifting guests with floral delights.
Incorporating the latest beauty trends, Wintergarden will host a Beauty Vending Machine as an exclusive gift with purchases over $300. Wintergarden will also host the popular Glitter Lounge, offering shoppers the chance to add a bit of sparkle and glitter to complete their Shop Brisbane City look.
Shop Brisbane City ambassador Rachel Khawaja, said the event was the perfect time to celebrate the changing season and shop the new trends from exclusive stores, while immersing in the fabulous experiences only the CBD can offer.
