The longest-running "Superman" TV series continues with the release of Smallville: The Complete Ninth Season on Blu-ray™ and DVD. In this multi-disc collection from Warner Bros. Entertainment Australia (WBEA), Metropolis's clock tower tolls our characters' darkest hour as Clark Kent finally makes his first attempts to embrace his calling as a hero.

In Season Nine - starring Tom Welling, Allison Mack, Erica Durance, Cassidy Freeman, Callum Blue and Justin Hartley - fans see what a great planet Earth is. Review: For Smallville, Superman & supernatural fans, Season 9 brings some exciting elements including the entry of other superheros like the 'wonder twins'. Then there's the villian you love to hate - zod, who seduces Lois into believing she's helping the Blur. As tension rises, Lois proves her loyalty to Superman while distancing Clark, but she is slowly joining the dots as she battles with her undeniable connection to Clark. With plenty of Lois humour thrown in, this is a thoroughly enjoyable season, and one you will want to watch over and over again. Looking forward to seeing what the next season brings.
