Eight centimetres of fresh snowfall has fallen overnight at Falls Creek, which will see the resort through to the official closing date of Sunday, 29 September 2013 and into the first week of the school holidays.
Falls Creek currently has an average natural snowdepth of 60cm with more than 72cm in snowmaking areas.
Thrill seekers will be keen to know Panorama Progression Terrain Park is open with a total of eight lifts open across the resort. Cross Country skiers can also enjoy 18km of groomed trails.
Falls Creek currently has a 30% discount on lift passes, lessons and equipment hire, with Spring skiing and riding conditions to be enjoyed. Mums can also take advantage of the Mum Skis and Snowboard for Free deal currently on offer. Sister resort, Hotham received 3cm of fresh snow overnight and will close for the season at 5pm on Sunday 22 September. Until then, four lifts will be in operation on a snowmaking base of approx. 40cm. Dinner Plain Onsen + Spa retreat will remain open until Friday 27 September.
Hotham Hero Pass holders can still ski and ride at Falls Creek until the season closes. A key benefit of the Hero Pass which is currently on sale till 10 October 2013. Discount season passes for 2014 are also still available for sale.
