The Inaugural Sports Charity Ball is an exclusive black tie event, benefiting the McGrath Foundation and held in conjunction with the leading sport industry conference: Sport Business World with keynote speakers Nathan Rees, Peter Holmes a Court, Minister of Sports Hon Kate Ellis, Craig Phillips (Australian Olympic Committee) and several well known CEOs from large sporting bodies.

Guests at the Sports Charity ball will not only enjoy a spectacular, sport-filled evening, but will also have the opportunity to support the work of the McGrath Foundation and by extension, Australian women diagnosed with breast cancer, and their families.

The McGrath Foundation aims to raise funds to place McGrath Breast Care Nurses throughout regional and rural Australia, as well as increasing breast awareness among Australian women, especially those under 40.

Although this is a black tie event, guests are encouraged to wear a splash of pink to show their support for the McGrath Foundation. Guests will also have the opportunity to bid in an auction of valuable sports memorabilia, with all proceeds going to the McGrath Foundation.
