New to the village is the Discovery Channel s obstacle course; MTV is giving festival goers the chance to pretend they re a rock star and film a rock video; and for those who like to wrestle can test their skills in the Fox 8 mini wrestling ring. On the village s main stage, stars from Australia s Next Top Model will hold a model walk off to become St Kilda s Next Top Model. Project Runway will invite Melbourne designers to show off their designs and dare to be critiqued by PR judges Sarah Gale and Henry Roth.

Returning to the Festival; film your own Weather Report with The Weather Channel and your own news report at the BBC; have your photo taken with your favourite movie stars in the movie channel s marquee, and try your luck on FUEL TV s inflatable surf rider and mechanical bull rider.

For the younger kids, they can have their photo taken with their favourite FOXTEL characters, including TV1 s Mr T, Nickelodeon s SpongeBob SquarePants, Ben 10, Scooby Doo, Tweenies and live shows from Nick Jr. s Dora the Explorer. Kids also need to make a stop at the CBeebies Kidzone where they can be entertained with music by the Gee Whiz Kids, magic with Terry McSweeney, face painting with Suzie Sparkles and craft workshops. Iconic to St Kilda, Luna Park promises fun for the kids with roving characters and performers including RedMo the Pirate, Red the Clown and Pirate Fancy Gold Pants.
