St Peters Salvos Stores Relaunch

St Peters Salvos Stores Relaunch

St Peters Salvos Store in Tempe is undergoing a revamp next month to give its customers a more satisfying experience when they shop. The unveiling will take place on Monday 14 May, with activities in-store throughout that week. There will be more checkouts to reduce delays, additional dressing rooms and a more customer friendly layout. A Salvos Street Boutique will also be an exciting new element to the store.

The Salvos Street Boutique encourages fashion savvy, budget conscious consumers to shop at their local Salvos Stores and discover affordable fashion, while helping the community and the environment. Well known stylists Alla Moda Image and Style Studio will be curating the boutique for the relaunch week, combining ever popular vintage and pre loved styles with current modern on trend pieces, and the interior is built utilising second hand fixtures. Not only does shopping at the boutique save the consumer money and provide them with a one of a kind fashionable look, it's much kinder to the planet.

General Manager of Salvos Stores Australia Eastern Territory, Neville Barrett says "Australians can make a real difference to their community and the environment by shopping at a Salvos Store. We wanted to make that experience more enjoyable and appealing, so encourage locals in the area to come in and donate, and customers locally and wider to want to shop at St Peters. With the revamp we've hopefully achieved this, which in turn supports the mission and programs of The Salvation Army."

Salvos Stores has been helping struggling families and individuals for over 130 years, raising millions of dollars to support The Salvation Army. Pre-loved and recycled furniture, clothing and goods are donated to the stores and then sorted and checked before being distributed free of charge to those in need through The Salvation Army's network of Community Service Centres, with the remainder being offered for sale through Salvos Stores, with all profits going towards vital Salvation Army programs to assist people in need.

Those wishing to donate to Salvos Stores can ring to have their items collected or deliver their donation during normal business hours to their nearest Salvos Store. Donations should not be left after hours outside Salvos Stores, as these are often stolen or damaged by the weather.
