A dynamic physical performance work inspired by the literary works of Samuel Beckett, Cormac McCarthy and Michel Houellebecq, strangeland proposes a compelling and mesmerising landscape of the future we are hurtling towards. It is a work for our time.

Following its celebrated international debut at the prestigious 2008 Seoul Performing Arts Festival, strangeland is a unique cross-cultural collaboration between acclaimed Australian performance company not yet it's difficult and Korean performance group The Wuturi Players, and features an international ensemble of some of Australia's and Korea's finest contemporary performers and an award--winning production team.

strangeland is a fictional world of constraint and deprivation borne from an unspecified natural disaster. In this stark landscape, the voice is mute, the eye is blind, the skin is dry and the ear is dulled but hope still penetrates in the presence of the human spirit.
