The Color Run, also known as the Happiest 5k on the Planet, is staying up late for Australia's first ever night time experience in Sydney on Saturday, 6 June 2015.
A kaleidoscope of colour will hit The Domain in Sydney's CBD, with thousands of people running through an incredible range of glowtastic colour zones, illuminating bubble stations and surprise course attractions.
The fun will continue after the run at the unforgettable Finish Festival party, with great tunes, dancing and even more magical glow powder explosions to celebrate the night. Plus a few more surprises for participants on the night!
Coinciding with the last few days of Vivid Sydney, The Color Run National Manager and Race Director, Luke Hannan expects a sellout crowd for the inaugural event.
All participants are encouraged to run for a cause, and The Color Run has partnered with Home & Away heartthrob Andrew Morely, who will use the event as an opportunity to raise money for his charity and official charity of the event - Oscars Law.
Although The Color Run is not a charity event, it does allow participants to use the event as a mechanic to raise money for their chosen charity or one that is important to them.
Aimed at changing the way Australians get their pets through promoting rescue organisations and shelters, participants can choose to fundraise at the point of registration or via GoFundraise.
For those who can't get down to the premier The Color Run Night, the original paint race will also be heading to Wollongong and Newcastle; key dates and times as follows:
Sunday, 24 May – Wollongong Color Run at Stuart Park (8am start)
Saturday, 6 June – Sydney Color Run Night at The Domain, Art Gallery Road (6pm start)
Sunday, 28 June – Newcastle Color Run at Newcastle Jockey Club (9am start)
