The Russian vaulter won her first medal (bronze) at the 1999 IAAF World Championships.
Her vaulting has progressed over the years, with her starting vault in 1996 being at a height of 3.80metres and her current personal best being a height of 4.55metres set during the 200 Olympics.
Tatiana's popularity has taken a huge leap since the Olympics. She has released a line of clothing, has appeared on the cover of many magazines such as Inside Sport, Ralph and New Idea and was also the face of the 2000 Melbourne Spring Racing Carnival.
She has her own website at www.tatiana.com.au featuring a pictorial that follows her modelling career.
As a tall blonde bombshell, Tatiana Grigorieva is a woman not to be messed with. Australia is behind their adopted vaulter and wishes her the best in vaults to come.
