Marrying the poise of the past with today's independent spirit, the line features vivid, exciting prints guaranteed to make the jaw drop. In an eclectic line-up of colour, minx pinks meet eggshell greens, flower-power hues swirl into bold graphics and tasty lemons, chocolates and mints add mouth-watering highlights. Feminine shapes appear in a diverse selection of saucy tri-kini sets (with sunbake g-string), signature-spliced maillots and glam-centric styles with flippy skirts, frills and gathers. Girlie bows, 3D flowers, buckles and diamond-studded dice add the ultimate finish.
By looking back at style icons ranging from Audrey Hepburn to Andy Warhol, the Sydney-based Chessells has created a sensation that fuses the feel-good with the look-good.
"In my designs, I looked back to the optimism of the 50s and 60s, a time in history when glamour, elegance and leisure were more simply enjoyed," she says. "We've given the line a feel that's reminiscent of everything from sexy pin-up princesses to elegant garden parties to languid seabound vacations.
"All of our pieces are Australian-made with an innate fashion appeal that has become synonymous with the outgoing women who wear tc."
Ms Chessells says the latest range encouraged women to feel motivated, fresh and foxy.
"Wearing a tc_swimwear design is all about feeling good about yourself. It's about attitude, not age or size."
In keeping with this philosophy, tc_swimwear is ensuring that it's not just grown-ups who have all the fun this season by releasing a new swimwear/gift collection for babies and kids. Cutely billed as kid-Kahuna, the line will incorporate the adult range of swim styles and themes for the trendy tot.
