Teen Mom UK

Teen Mom UK will prove that age is really just a number when it comes to parenting. This eight part series premiering on Sunday 13th November at 5.50pm, only on MTV, will explore the lives of five teen mums from different backgrounds and different corners of the UK, as they endeavour to find the right balance between parenting, work and study. Teenage homage is bad enough without the added pressures of pregnancy and parenthood, however, these girls are united in their experience and are ready to share it with you. Get the tissues ready, because Teen Mom UK is about to take you on an emotional rollercoaster that will make you laugh and cry.

Has Teen Mom had an effect on teen pregnancy in Australia? Who knows, but since the last census in 2012 teen pregnancy rates in Australia have been on the decline. The brand new series Teen Mom UK will continue to shed some light on the highs and lows of teen pregnancy, encouraging teenage girls to make an informed decision. (Australian Bureau of Statistics, Births Australia 2012 Publication)

Teen Mom UK episode one introduces the girls and their families, giving us an exclusive insight into the lives that they live. Megan's relationship with Dylan goes from one extreme to another, Naomi talks love triangles with Kyanna's father, Raphael, Chloe explains how she's battling with the baby blues since giving birth, Mia eagerly awaits her due date and Amber attempts to move on from Brooklyn's dad, Ste. The drama has already started and we're all -heart eyes emoji' at the sight of the little ones!

Mum really is the word but forget the saying, it's time to meet the girls!

First up we have Megan Salmon Ferrari and it's not just her red hair that is fiery. This independent woman is trying her best to support her family, juggling the trials and tribulations of young love, whilst caring for baby Mckenzie.

Amber Butler's friends think she could be the next Kardashian family member – and she wouldn't be complaining! Motherhood has turned Amber's world upside down and although a lot has changed since becoming pregnant, she says it's all been for the better. This single mum does everything she can to try and make herself and her son Brooklyn proud. When Amber isn't looking after Brooklyn and his golden locks, or working, she enjoys getting glammed up for a girly night out once in a while.

Chloe Patton may be a drama queen and A+ student at school, but this teen mum shares her story as she over-comes the baby blues and captures her bundle of fun, Marley, growing up on camera. Chloe is a big dreamer. Her aspirations of becoming an actress have been put on hold to focus on her new-found family life. Chloe tries not to moan at Marley's dad, Jordan, too much, as they embark on teen parenting together.

Mia Boardman was made for the screen as her top three hobbies (aside from changing nappies) are dancing, singing and acting! Mia loves being a teen mum and admits that although she hasn't been able to stay in touch with all her friends, having Marliya by her side puts a smile on her face and we're not surprised – you'll see why. This chatterbox will entertain you from start to finish with her one-liners and crazy facts, despite the unconventional family dynamics she has to deal with.

Last but not least, Naomi Konickova, isn't just a pretty face. When she's not running around after her pocket rocket, Kyanna, Naomi hopes to further her qualifications as a make-up artist and has high ambitions for her and daughter Kyanna's future. This family girl hopes that some girls watching will be able to relate to her situation, admitting she is a bit of a feminist. YOU GO GIRL. Taking everything in her stride, the humble and at times reserved teen, is a contrast to her daughter, who never seems to run out of energy.

Get ready to fall in love with the mums and the bubs when Teen Mom UK premieres on Sunday November 13th at 5.50pm, only on MTV.
