Elijah Moshinksy's much-loved production of Rossini's comic masterpiece pays homage to the silent movie era of Buster Keaton and the Keystone Kops. The dashing Jose Carbo brings to life the title role as the Barber and the hilarious Dominica Matthews is Rosina. It's a riotous night of theatre, featuring some of Opera Australia's most talented comedic performers. The Barber of Seville opens on 30 April 2012 at State Theatre.
