Sydney and Melbourne cities are set to be turned into obstacle courses with a bizarre competition billed as the biggest adventure race in the world. Over 25,000 people have taken part around the world, now it s your turn.

All Australian habitants are invited to complete a series of challenges, ranging from eating live worms and holding deadly snakes to using a car to drive a giant football through a net, in a bid to represent Australia in the City Chase World Championships.

Part obstacle, part scavenger hunt, teams of two will be armed with a cryptic clue sheet leading them to secret ChasePoints around the city travelling only by foot, bus and train. At each ChasePoint teams attempt to complete physical, intellectual and humorous challenges.

The first team to complete the required 12 out of 20 ChasePoints and cross the finish line wins. It s up to each team the order they visit each ChasePoint; but a little strategic route planning, resourcefulness and determination can help.

Nokia City Chase invites couch potatoes and fitness fanatics alike who want to try something new, and experience discovery, adventure and laughter. But remember it s not about winning, its all about the journey.
