The Grounds of Alexandria are hosting a lunch and dinner Mother's Day special with beautiful flower arrangement, intricate table settings, a custom & delicious tasting menu from Executive Chef Paul McGrath and a personalised gift for each mum.
We'll bring the flowers, delicious food and beautiful surroundings. You bring mum. It's the perfect way to say thank-you!
Make it a Mother's Day to remember by treating that special woman in your life to a unique day like nothing you've ever seen before. We're going all out to transform our Atrium and laneways to create a jaw-dropping, mouth-watering occasion that's fit for a queen.
What does this mean? It means a glass of Pol Roger champagne or cocktail on arrival, followed by a selection of non-alcoholic drinks to accompany your meal. (You can purchase further wine or champagne if you desire on the day.) It also means a chef's welcome plate and 3-course meal, loaded with signature Grounds fare that includes an abundant seafood entrée, unique and plentiful Sunday Roast with a very decadent dessert true to The Grounds usual event style.
This all happens surrounded by the aroma and ambience of beautiful installations created on-site by our resident florist, Florals by Silva. As part of the day, mum will be treated to one of Silva's special flower crowns and a gift at her table – already making her the queen of the day.
With the mood set beautifully by our live 3-piece band, and magical photo areas with Instagram printers on hand to capture all the moments, this will truly be a day to remember.
We're so excited to bring this very special Mother's Day celebration to you. Join us on May 8th and deliver her the day she deserves!
Further details:
Tickets are $160 per person – including the welcome champagne/cocktail and non-alcoholic beverage pack, dinner, live entertainment, plus floral crown and gift for mum.
A whole table must be purchased – please pick the ticket type which indicates how many people at the table. Price is per head. Max 100 tickets per sitting, once we reach this number table types will start to become unavailable.
There are two sittings – lunch and dinner. Each takes place in The Atrium at The Grounds of Alexandria. Previous events have sold out so we recommend booking now to guarantee your place.
Lunch sitting begins seating at 11.30am, while dinner begins seating at 7pm. The atmosphere is relaxed; with 2.5 hours per sitting to enjoy and spend time with your mum.
Children are most welcome, however please note that there is no discount. Children aged 3 and under are free but must not take up a seat – please advise if there will be a pram to assist with table placement which can be done at checkout.
Also advise at checkout how many mums will be on your table (we often have multiple mums sitting together!) – this will assist us with our gift numbers.
Wheelchair accessible – please let us know should you have a wheelchair at the table by giving us a call on 9699 2225.
To ensure a relaxing experience for all, we will be sending through a pre-authorisation form for your credit card details so on the day no money will exchange hands. Please look out for this a week prior to the event and ensure you get back to us asap.
For allergies: we will give out a separate meal for seafood allergies for the entree, most other allergies can be eaten around and do not affect the whole meal. There is a space at check out to notify us of any allergies or intolerances. Should you require a vegetarian meal, please select at check out along with how many people at the table require this menu. For our vegan menu, please contact us to run through the menu offering.
At this stage we are not opening up seats for 2. If you wish to put your name down should any become available, you will need to email through and we will have a waiting list. This isn't an assured spot, but we will get back to you when we know. Please do so via the question link at the side of the specific event page (lunch or dinner).
We look forward to seeing you at The Grounds Mother's Day dinner in The Atrium.
