Royal fever has swept the globe and while viewers may have thought Meghan and Harry's wedding was going to be the most talked-about royal television spectacle this year, today MTV announced its new high-society social experiment "The Royal World" will begin premiering on Thursday, November 8 at 9.30pm.
For one long hot summer, MTV invited a group of royals and aristocrats to live together in the English countryside and filmed their every move in an attempt to find out what it is really like to be young and royal.
How will one cope when a Baroness, a Lady and a couple of absolute Counts leave their help behind and attend some of the most high-profile events of the season? This is royality TV at its finest.
Meet The Cast:
Archie Manners (UK): will act as Master of Ceremonies or, as he likes to refer to himself, a 'poshologist' and will guide us commoners through the blue bloods, their backgrounds and bonkers behavior.
Tyler Dooley (USA): American born and bred, there may not be a royal family in the States but Tyler is none other than Meghan Markle's nephew. Dooley considers Meghan to have been more like a sister to him growing up, and is set to make a royal impact as he sets the record surrounding his family straight.
Triple Baroness Jessica Heydel (UK): This twice-debutante has not one, but three Baroness titles, spanning three European countries. Fittingly, she also runs a travel blog.
Adeniyi Obafemi Olopade, or as known to his friends, Niyi (UK/Nigeria): The son of a Nigerian Chief, Olopade's distinguished father visits his son in London several times a year but in between visits, Olopade has his own driver, cleaner and housekeeper to keep everything in order. That's normal, right?
Lady Camilla Beresford (UK): A self-described horse lover and avid polo player, Beresford's family owns the sprawling 2,500 acre Curraghmore Estate, the largest private domain in Ireland.
Zara Zoffany Farida Sassoon-Munns (UK): A party girl who's lived in luxury hotels until she was 15, with an impressive family tree that spans numerous Barons and Earls.
Count Michael 'Misha' Zadie Campbell and Count Dimitri 'Dima' Ziadie Campbell (UK): The adopted sons of Lady Colin Campbell (of 'I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here' fame), these two know all about having to play happy families.
