Celebrating its 20th anniversary, Australia's ultimate stair climb event, the 'Triple M Sydney Tower Run-Up' will take place on Friday 21st August and is now open for registrations.

People of all ages and abilities are welcome to compete in the race from Pitt Street Mall up the 1,504 stairs to the Observation Deck of Sydney Tower. Participants compete for a total prize pool of $30,000.

Triple M will broadcast live from the event and those who don't feel up to the challenge are invited to come and cheer on the competitors including participants from new categories: emergency services, surf clubs, armed forces and fire fighters.

Proceeds from the Triple M Sydney Tower Run-Up are donated to the Starlight Foundation.
